Tip to Toe Bodyworks is a clinic with independant thereapists here to help mend through massage and reflexology. We also offer some aesthetic services and indoor tanning.
Our team of registered massage therapists consists of Jason, Mandy, Ashley, Stacey and Rhaya. Tracy is certified in foot reflexology.
Jason started his massage training in 1999 and was certified in 2002 from the Northern College of Physical Therapies. He has since then attended numerous workshops and training in a variety of modelities some of which include: spinal touch balancing, rib cage dysfunction and corrections, Onsen (structural and functional assessment and balancing of the upper and lower body extremities), Euro Ostropathic approach for treatment of visceral dysfunction of the abdomen and the thorax, Touch for Health Accupressure and foot reflexology. He has also completed taping for muscular dysfunctions and sports therapy.
Mandy also graduated with her remedial massage therapy - advanced level from the Northern College of Physical Therapies in 2002. She has also completed training in sports therapy. She loves a challenge and works at fixing the issues that cause her clients grief and frustration.
The Northern College of Physical Therapies is a private independant tuition organisation catering for the private practitioner in massage and allied therapies. The school is not a school of medicine, and there is no intent to imply that these diploma's denotes a medical qualification.
Stacey has recently completed her 2200 hours of advance therapy through MHVicars College, Calgary Campus. She is currently expanding her therapeutic knowledge with the Onsen courses which is based on the functional assessment and correction of different areas of the body. Stacey is also a practitioner of Reiki and Aquai Chi detoxification. She is very enthusiastic about her ability to help others feel better.
Rhaya joined our team after graduating from the Massage Therapy Course at Lakeland College on the Dean's Honor roll. She does a fantastic job of giving a very effective therapeutic or relaxation massage. She is also trained in Jade stone massage which promotes relaxation and vitality while releasing toxins and inflammation. Be confident that you will receive a quality treatment from her with steady firm pressure needed to relax your tense aching muscles.
Jenni is the newest member to join our team. She also graduated from Lakeland College and is anxious to start her new career. She is more than capable and absolutely wonderful at making her clients feel relaxed after their massage.
Tracy is a certified foot Reflexologist through The Universal College of Reflexology since 2001. She has been trained through The Alberta Academy of Aesthetics in pedicures and has training in manicures. Tracy has taken courses in spinal touch balancing, Touch for Health Acupressure and Euro Ostropathic approach for treatment visceral dysfunction of the abdomen.
Tip to Toe also has, on occasion, practicum students in the clinic that need clients to practice on. If you would like to help us, help them obtain their education, see if we have anyone available to give a you a relaxation massage.
The therapist all agree that it is important for everyone to look after themselves. We are here to help make it feel better when it hurts.
